50 years ago, Maison OMEGA was presented by NASA astronauts with the Silver Snoopy Award in recognition of its participation in the Apollo 13 mission as well as its contribution to space exploration.
Today for their 50th anniversary, the Omega manufacture is launching the Speedmaster Moonwatch "Silver Snoopy Award".
Housed in a 42mm steel case, the new caliber 3861, a manually-wound chronograph with co-axial escapement certified as Master Chronometer. Its silver and blue dial is stamped with the famous Snoopy. In the background, an animation representing Snoopy in his service and control module spins when the chronograph is activated. In the background, the Earth, which also performs one rotation per minute, like the small second hand. Pre-order now!
