Description
On October 3, 1962, the Speedmaster CK 2998 became the first OMEGA watch to be worn in space when astronaut Walter Schirra took his own model on the Mercury programme's Sigma 7 mission. This revisited version pays tribute to the pioneering watch and represents the modern interpretation of the 2nd generation Speedmasters.
The 39.70 mm polished and satin-finished stainless steel case is mounted on a ‘flat links’ bracelet with OMEGA's patented comfort adjustment system. The black aluminium bezel features the legendary tachymeter scale with the famous dot above the number 90.
