This success is largely due to the Vaud Tourist Office. But that’s not all. The entrepreneurial spirit of the private sector is doing the rest, thanks to a creative enthusiasm that benefits the whole region. <\/p>\n

All in a day<\/h3>\n

Another initiative was launched just over a year ago by Glacier 3000, Golden-Pass, Chillon Castle and Vevey watchmaker and jeweller Lionel Meylan (with his sons Julien and Yannick): Highlights Lake Geneva Region. A four-part product with a major advantage: it can be done in a single day. A sixty-minute train ride from Gstaad to Glacier 3000, a two-hour cable car ride up to Glacier 3000 to enjoy activities in the snow, a coach ride to Chillon Castle for an express visit and wine tasting and, finally, a unique watchmaking experience at Meylan, including shopping. <\/p>\n
