The 1960s were a decade of experimentation, pleasure, freedom and energy. Whether criss-crossing the roads on a motorcycle or in a sports car, living life at full speed was the order of the day. Willy Breitling sensed this change of pace and set about creating an unconventional chronograph to reflect the zest of the times. He gave it the name Top Time.
This spirited tradition continues today with Breitling’s association with some of the biggest names in motoring to create its Top Time models.
The second-generation Chevrolet Corvette, a model from 1963 to 1967, is the most prized version of the American legend. Nicknamed the “Sting Ray”, it was inspired by a 1959 racing prototype. For 60 years, it has captured the imagination of car enthusiasts the world over, thanks to its perfect combination of low-profile bodywork and a powerful engine that performs on both road and track.
The Top Time B01 Chevrolet Corvette features the colors and emblem of the legendary car of the same name, as well as a racing-themed perforated leather strap, speedometer and contrasting squircle sub-dials reminiscent of vintage dashboard gauges.
