Watchmaking
Lionel Meylan offers an assortment of finely selected watch brands.
Lionel Meylan also offers a maintenance, repair and customization service, backed by a highly professional team. Lionel Meylan’s watchmakers are certified by the partner brands, and regularly receive additional training from the manufacturers.
Watchmaking After-Sales Service
Has your mechanical timepiece stopped working? Has the clock that usually strikes the hours in your living room decided to remain silent? Your Lionel Meylan boutique will take care of it in its after-sales service department.
Some 1,400 watches pass through our watchmakers’ hands every year. Older watches are repaired on site, while others are sent to the manufacturers. As for clocks, they are repaired in Lionel Meylan’s workshop and then put back into service at your home.
Don’t hesitate to ask your privileged advisor for more information and guidance.
Customization
Would you like to personalize your timepiece with a special engraving? Would you like to offer a personalized gift so that your loved one can recall a unique moment?
Our craftsmen are at your disposal to advise you and present you with the most beautiful customizations to meet your needs.
Bracelets
Have you been wearing your favorite watch so much that its worn-out strap needs urgent replacement? Or would you simply like to change your strap to give your watch a new look?
There are those who tire of the classic brown or black alligator, those who prefer leather to satin, men who are fed up with drab colors and women who want to be able to change bracelets as easily as they change outfits.
Lionel Meylan responds to all these possibilities by offering colored bracelets adapted to each watch. Alligator, ostrich, lizard or taurillon are available in a palette of 25 hues, from turquoise to pale green, from raspberry to taupe.
Second-hand watches
Lionel Meylan offers second-hand watches of all brands. To meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding clientele, each watch can be fully serviced.
Second-hand, of course, but with no surprises…

Management
For Lionel’s youngest son, the love of watchmaking came naturally. Nothing could be more natural when you spend your childhood surrounded by complex cogs and magnificent mechanisms… His studies at the Ecole d’horlogerie de la Vallée de Joux confirmed to Julien that the profession ran in his veins.
Today, he runs the company jointly with his brother, Yannick. His greatest pleasure? Spending time with customers to advise them, making himself available to sketch a ring or pendant to create a bespoke piece of jewelry, repair a watchband or carry out a quick service for a customer in a hurry. In short, Julien goes out of his way to be of service. But his legendary calm and energy at work are matched only by his coolness when it comes to the sports he enjoys: hiking in the mountains in summer, skiing in winter and skydiving all year round!

Lionel’s eldest son fell into clockmaking as a child. As a child, Yannick spent most of his free time watching his father restore antique clocks. It’s an activity he practiced himself at the start of his career, when he had just completed the Ecole des Métiers in precision mechanics, supplemented by studies in commerce and management. Today, Yannick runs the company jointly with his brother, Julien, and divides his time between the Vevey boutiques and Glacier 3000, the highest watchmaking boutique in French-speaking Switzerland. But don’t be fooled into thinking that the ticking of watches is the only thing that makes this adventurer tick. In addition to his passion for aviation, which he satisfies by regularly flying over the Alps in a helicopter or plane, he loves simple pleasures: bivouacking in the forest with his two boys, his Doberman Oban and genuine human relationships.
