Independent since its foundation in Holstein in 1904 and still managed by its owners, the Swiss brand Oris produces 100% mechanical watches.

The brand is free to pursue the dream of its founders, who aimed to produce high-quality watches with functions that are truly of use to their users, at affordable prices.

These goals recently translated into the first automatic watch equipped with a mechanical altimeter, the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Altimeter; a revolutionary safety bezel for diver’s watches equipping the Oris Pro Diver; and in 2014, to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the brand, a mechanical calibre with a ten-day power reserve.
