Its highlight: an approximately one-hour flight per person on a new-generation self-launching tandem glider. Departing from Bex, the foothills of the Vaudois Alps and Lake Léman unfold from a completely new perspective. “We can’t even begin to describe these sensations,” says Lionel Meylan, at the controls of the Arcus ‘M’ glider. “The third dimension has to be experienced. All one can say is that it offers an unbelievable panoramic perspective and a fantastic sense of freedom.” After the flight, there is nothing like an aperitif for regaining composure. The Aeronautical Package also includes a night for two in the Agadir, Coloniale, Cinéma or Chalet room as well as a meal for two with a menu tailored to the season.

The Package for Madame and Monsieur is an invitation to succumb to the moment and simply unwind. Firstly, there’s the welcome to a superior double Agadir, Coloniale, Cinéma or Chalet room. Then there’s a meal midnightfor two in the warm surroundings of the restaurants at the Hostellerie de Genève. Finally, there’s a programme filled with surprises and discoveries. For Madame, the package includes a facial, blow dry and treatment, daytime make-up and spa manicure with nail polish at Look@Me, just a stone’s throw from the hotel. Meanwhile, Monsieur has a date at the Lionel Meylan boutique for an exclusive watchmaking experience. Taking a movement apart and reassembling it, revealing the secrets of how it works… Under the expert guidance of Lionel or Julien Meylan, watchmaking reveals its innermost secrets through this unique moment of discovery.
As is always the case at the Hostellerie de Genève, nothing is cast in stone. Anne-Christine Meylan and her team can adapt the packages to suit everybody’s taste and wishes. Monsieur is more than welcome to enjoy a beauty treatment while Madame tries out the watchmaking workshop. Or both activities can be enjoyed as a couple.
