Chronomat automatic 36

A10320101C1A1

Breitling’s quintessential versatile sports watch is ready for anything. The Chronomat occupies a central place in the brand’s modern history. Unveiled for Breitling’s centennial in 1984, at a time when quartz movements dominated the market, it marked a bold return to mechanical watches. It was born out of a collaboration with the much-loved Italian aerobatic team, the Frecce Tricolori. When the team requested an analog timepiece capable of withstanding the intense pressures of an aircraft cockpit, yet elegant enough to be worn at formal events, Breitling developed the Frecce Tricolori chronograph. In a sense, it served as the prototype for the Chronomat that would follow a year later. The Chronomat Automatic 36 is designed to fit a wide variety of wrists. It is powered by the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 10, a Sellita automatic movement featuring a 42-hour power reserve and a date window at 6 o’clock. This model offers a range of dial colors and finishes, including natural mother-of-pearl dials and bezels made of stainless steel or set with precious stones. It comes with the iconic, fully integrated Rouleaux bracelet, featuring micro-adjustments on either side of the clasp."
