On April 1, 1935, LONGINES registered the Pilot Majetek model with the International Bureau of Industrial Property in Berne, Switzerland. Initially designed for aviators, this watch gradually appealed to a wider public looking for a reliable, robust and precise timepiece. Nearly a century later, the brand is reviving this unique aviator's watch, with completely redesigned technical and ergonomic functions. A major technical challenge, its bi-directional fluted bezel with internal "departure time indicator", mounted on a cushion-shaped case, asserts its innovative character and recalls the 1935 model that inspired it. These chronometer-certified watches are powered by an exclusive LONGINES caliber, equipped with a silicon balance-spring and resistant to magnetic fields.
