Through The Sound Maker™, Jaeger-LeCoultre wishes to highlight the greatest chiming mechanisms developed at the Manufacture since its creation in 1833. Inspired by the first Memovoxes of the 1950s and 1960s, this original version features an alarm with an iconic school bell sound combined with a date indicator, which scrolls through an aperture at 3 o'clock. Between respect for traditions and the cult of innovation, the Master Control Memovox cultivates the art of sobriety with a revisited caliber, double polished, satin-finish case-back and new Novonappa® calfskin strap, not to mention the open case-back of the watch, which allows the eye to admire the rhythmic dance of the new hammer on the peripheral bell.
