Seamaster Planet Ocean 6000M 45.5 mm

215.30.46.21.06.001

During the Five Deeps expedition in 2019, the Ultra Deep made history by descending to the deepest point on Earth. After this record-breaking dive, the game-changing watch was adapted into a unique collection for the general public. Tested in real-life ocean conditions during its conception, the design is water-resistant to a depth of 6,000 meters and complies with the ISO 6425:2018 saturation diving watch standard. This robust 45.5 mm O-MEGASTEEL model sports a polished orange ceramic bezel featuring a liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova diving scale. Its domed, protruding sapphire crystal tops a white lacquered dial with a gradient effect from grey to black, featuring four orange Arabic numerals, as well as 18K white gold hands and hour-markers, coated in white Super-LumiNova.The watch is fitted with an O-MEGASTEEL bracelet with OMEGA-patented extendable folding clasp, featuring a rack-and-pinion clasp for size adjustment and an additional extension for diving, while the grade 5 titanium medallion on the caseback features the laser-engraved Sonar emblem with the iconic OMEGA seahorse at its center. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8912 movement.

Features

Features

Antimagnetic: The movement resists magnetic fields in excess of 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
Master Chronometer certification: This certification guarantees the highest level of precision, performance and magnetic resistance in Swiss industry, as established by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
Chronometer: Designation of a watch that has passed precision tests and received a certificate from an official organization (the COSC).
Screw-in crown: self-locking crown screwed into the case tube, used for highly water-resistant diving watches.
Time zone function: Allows the hour hand to be easily set to two time zones, without stopping the watch.
Unidirectional rotating bezel: Bezel turning in one direction only. Particularly useful for divers, as they can’t accidentally turn it in the wrong direction and thus miscalculate their dive times. A rotating bezel makes it easier to measure elapsed time.
