True to this spirit of adventure, the "Blue Side of the Moon" is inspired by the color of the night sky.The 44.25 mm case and blue ceramic bezel are complemented by an OMEGA Ceragold™ tachymeter scale. This watch rests on a blue leather strap with ceramicized titanium and blue ceramic folding clasp.The striking blue aventurine glass dial is enlivened by 18K Sedna™ gold hands and hour markers as well as a red-tipped date hand. It also features at 6 o'clock the moon-phase indication, whose different faces are represented in Sedna™ gold on a blue enamel aventurine glass disc (patent pending).The watch is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer 9904 caliber, which meets the watch industry's highest performance criteria, as determined by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

Antimagnetic: The movement resists magnetic fields in excess of 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
Master Chronometer certification: This certification guarantees the highest level of precision, performance and magnetic resistance in Swiss industry, as established by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
Chronograph: The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A chronograph watch can therefore time events while continuing to indicate the time in the same way as a traditional watch.
Chronometer: Designation of a watch that has passed precision tests and received a certificate from an official organization (the COSC).
Transparent back: A transparent back, often sapphire, allows the movement inside the watch to be seen.
Small seconds: Sub-dial hand marking the seconds. It usually completes one full rotation in one minute.
Moon phases: A moon phase watch features a function that indicates the phases of the Moon. A lunar cycle lasts 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.8 seconds, during which four phases take place: new moon, first crescent, full moon, last crescent.
Tachymeter: A tachymeter watch has a speed-measuring function. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which the user can read the speed in kilometers per hour over a distance of 1,000 meters.
