Speedmaster Super Racing 44.25 mm

329.30.44.51.01.003

This 44.25 mm stainless steel Speedmaster is the first OMEGA watch to feature the Spirate™ system launched in 2023.

It features a black "sandwich" dial adorned with a honeycomb motif and checkerboard minute track, symbolizing the watch's link with motor sports. A black ceramic bezel with a tachometric scale in "grand feu" yellow enamel surrounds the dial.

This bold yellow is also present in a gradient on the chronograph hand and the yellow and black striped small seconds hand at 9 o'clock. The watch's 60-minute and 12-hour counters are directly opposite, at 3 o'clock, while at 6 o'clock, on the date window, the number "10" is written in the same font as the Speedmaster logo, in tribute to the anniversary of the Seamaster Aqua Terra >15,000 GAUSS.

The black diamond-polished arrow markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, emitting a yellow glow. This color code is echoed in the Speedmaster and Super Racing markings on the dial.

The watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 9920, which meets the watch industry's highest performance criteria as determined by METAS. It is the first movement in the world to feature OMEGA's patent-pending Spirate™ system.

This timepiece is delivered in a black Speedmaster case with yellow stitching featuring a honeycomb motif, containing a recycled nylon NATO strap with black and yellow stripes.

Features

Features

Antimagnetic: The movement resists magnetic fields in excess of 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
Master Chronometer certification: This certification guarantees the highest level of precision, performance and magnetic resistance in Swiss industry, as established by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
Chronograph: The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A chronograph watch can therefore time events while continuing to indicate the time in the same way as a traditional watch.
Chronometer: Designation of a watch that has passed precision tests and received a certificate from an official organization (the COSC).
Date: The day of the month, displayed in an aperture on the watch dial at 3 or 6 o’clock, or in a counter at 9 o’clock.
Time zone function: Allows the hour hand to be easily set to two time zones, without stopping the watch.
Transparent back: A transparent back, often sapphire, allows the movement inside the watch to be seen.
Small seconds: Sub-dial hand marking the seconds. It usually completes one full rotation in one minute.
Tachymeter: A tachymeter watch has a speed-measuring function. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which the user can read the speed in kilometers per hour over a distance of 1,000 meters.
