How did the project come about?

We have found that there is a real demand for this type of service. It already exists in the automotive sector, for example. We’ve had this idea in mind for our stores for a long time. Up to now, we’ve offered the possibility of paying for a purchase in several instalments, but we’ve kept it in the store until the final balance is paid. This time, we’re going one step further by offering our customers the possibility of paying in instalments, while enjoying the watch immediately. We’re not the first to offer this type of service, but the big difference is that we’re watchmakers. Our strength lies in combining financing, watchmaking service and professional advice.

What does it mean in concrete terms?

Quite simply, our customers now have the option of buying a watch with payment spread over 12, 24, 36 or 48 months. All interest-free.

Does this service cover your entire range?

We are currently concentrating on watches, with financing ranging from CHF 2,000 to CHF 10,000. This offer will be extended to jewelry at a later date. The service operates in our two boutiques in Vevey, as well as in our Breitling boutique in Lausanne.

How do you go about to benefit?

The administrative procedures are very simple! All you need to do is meet the following conditions: be a Swiss citizen or have a C residence permit, not have any legal proceedings or seizures in progress, and provide proof of identity. A first agreement in principle is immediately given by our partner. The contract is then definitively validated within 24 hours. Finally, to take possession of the item, there are several options: we can welcome the customer in our boutique, or we can send the watch by parcel post. Third option: we can deliver it within three hours or at the customer’s earliest convenience, depending on the geographical area.
