2 A shopping break at 3000 m altitude?

3 Winter in a skiing paradise…
Glacier 3000 is, of course, one of the finest ski areas in the Alps. Linked to the Gstaad Mountain Rides Skipool (220km of pistes) and the Vaud Alps ski area (225 km), Glacier 3000 offers 25 km of pistes served by ten lifts, between 1350 m and 3000 m. This ideal altitude guarantees optimal skiing conditions from October to the end of May, for committed skiers and families alike.

4 Summer on a steep slope
From May to the end of September, the slopes of Glacier 3000 are not skied, but tobogganed. On the world’s highest tobogganing facility, to be precise. The Alpine Coaster offers a one-kilometer descent punctuated by a 520-degree loop, ten bends, six waves, three jumps and two bridges. If you feel like it – and you’ve got the hang of it – you can even take a look at the scenery. Awesome!

5 Vertiginous Peak Walk
If all goes according to plan, the Peak Walk, the world’s first suspension bridge linking two peaks, will be inaugurated in November. At an altitude of almost 3,000 m, the 107-metre-long bridge links View Point to the summit of Scex Rouge. Open all year round and accessible free of charge to visitors to Glacier 3000, the Peak Walk is definitely worth a visit.
