Lionel Meylan in 24 Heures: “More and more offers to attract the Chinese”.

This success is largely due to the Vaud Tourist Office. But that’s not all. The entrepreneurial spirit of the private sector is doing the rest, thanks to a creative enthusiasm that benefits the whole region.

All in a day

Another initiative was launched just over a year ago by Glacier 3000, Golden-Pass, Chillon Castle and Vevey watchmaker and jeweller Lionel Meylan (with his sons Julien and Yannick): Highlights Lake Geneva Region. A four-part product with a major advantage: it can be done in a single day. A sixty-minute train ride from Gstaad to Glacier 3000, a two-hour cable car ride up to Glacier 3000 to enjoy activities in the snow, a coach ride to Chillon Castle for an express visit and wine tasting and, finally, a unique watchmaking experience at Meylan, including shopping.
