Clara Haskil Piano Competition

Clara Haskil, a Romanian-born Swiss pianist who was born in Bucharest in 1895 and died in Brussels in 1960, inspired many contemporary pianists. Since 1963, an international piano competition in Vevey has been named after her. The finalists will perform, accompanied by an orchestra, on August 25, 2017 at the Théâtre de Vevey, to open Septembre Musical. Forward maestro!

Show in the sky

Paragliding tricks, base jumping, aerobatics demonstrations… The ninth edition of the Acro Show, held at Place de l’Ouchettaz in Villeneuve, promises to be another hair-raising event. Last year, over 30,000 people attended this acrobatic free-flight event. How many fans of wingsuits, delta wings and other flying machines will be there from August 18 to 20, 2017?

The street is for artists

Three days of laughter, surprises and wonder will once again bring a joyous note of madness to the streets of Vevey. Held on August 27 and 28 at the Perrier beach in Clarens, the Ride for the Cause (R4tC) event aims to raise funds for local and international charities.
