Nestled in the Lavaux vineyards, in the charming village of Chardonne, chef Mathieu Bruno orchestrates the kitchens of this restaurant with mastery, which he took over in October 2016 with the help of his wife, Milène. A lover of seasonal produce, which he always adds a creative touch of his own, this thirty-something had already made a name for himself when he officiated at the Espace Paysan Horloger in Le Boechet, in the Jura, by being named “Découverte romande” 2015 Gault & Millau.

We work with fresh, seasonal produce on a very small menu that we change every month. The cuisine at Là-Haut is classic, but with a touch of originality that surprises our guests.
Mathieu Bruno, chef and manager of the Là-Haut restaurant

In his new restaurant, aptly named Là-Haut for its dominant geographical position and superb view of the splendours of Lake Geneva, Mathieu Bruno continues to build on his success. His gastronomic cuisine, which he defines as “creative”, is always accompanied by surprising combinations of flavors and aromas. The atmosphere is family-oriented, relaxed and, above all, not stuffy. The assurance of a pleasant moment with a treat for the taste buds that soars, very high, up there, to seventh heaven.
